Media Veteran Bill Day Joins ScanScout as CEO

Former Co-Founder and CEO of About.com and Chief Media Officer of Marchex To Head In-Stream Video Leader

New York – September 10, 2008 – ScanScout, the leading network for in-stream video advertising, announced today that Bill Day has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer.  Waikit Lau, ScanScout’s Co-Founder and acting CEO, returns to his role as President of the company.

A digital media industry veteran, as well as one of the most recognized executives in the web media space; Mr. Day is one of the co-founders and was CEO of About.com.  Most recently he served as Chief Media Officer of the global search engine marketing firm Marchex (NSDQ: MCHX).  Mr. Day’s digital media experience ranges back to his role as CEO of MeMedia, (formerly WhenU) the behavioral targeting firm and as a senior member of the Prodigy team, responsible for building many of the online services we find common today.
